ALIVE '10 - May 7, 2010
      Join us at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center at 1516 S. Cranbrook Road in Birmingham. 
It will be a night filled with fun and friends; fabulous food and drink; auction and celebration
as we join together to inspire all in Michigan to join the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.

SPRING 2009 EVENTS

Donate Life Coalition of Michigan Night with the Detroit Ignition

Friday, March 20, 2009                                                   

We had a fun night with the Ignition.  From the pre-game ceremony to our information/registry tables to all our fans in the audience, it was a great night. 

Thank you to the Detroit Ignition, to our volunteers and to all of you who came out for a great game!!!!!  

We are looking forward to coming back next year for our second annual Detroit Ignition Night!!!

 

ALIVE 2009 - May 14th at the Detroit Science Center

Celebrating the Gift of Life is certainly what we did!!!  THANK YOU for joining us!!!!

Ann Arbor Lions  Club Golf Outing - Monday, June 22nd

Thanks for supporting with wonderful event at the University of Michigan Golf Course.  This event supported The Michigan Eye Bank and other Lions service projects.

 

Second Chance at Life Golf Outing - Sunday, July 19th

Thank you for supporting Second Chance at Life.  This great organization supports transplant patients who are waiting for, receiving or recovering from a transplant. 

LIFE Walk - Saturday, July 25th

Gift of Life Night - Detroit Shock Basketball Game - Sunday, August 9th

Thank you for supporting Gift of Life by attending this WNBA Champion Detroit Shock Game. With the
Fan Tunnel, Ball Exchange, T-shirt giveaway, On-Line Donor Registry, Heartwarming Half-Time
presentation and a great night of WNBA basketball, we all had a wonderful time.    

Tiger's Donor Awareness Night - September 1st

We sold over 600 tickets this year -- Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!

This was a great night of baseball and Organ, Tissue and Eye Donation Awareness.  Thanks to Gift of Life
Michigan and our great volunteers, we were able to sign up 131 people on the Michigan Organ Donor
Registry -- our biggest Tiger's Game sign -up!!!!

We had the First Pitch this year!!! 
      a pre-game ceremony on the field
      an information table near the food court with on-line registry available
      announcements on the JumboTron during the game

Faith Ministry Seminar - September 18th

Our 5th annual "Bringing Organ Donation Awareness to our Faith Community" seminar was held on
Friday, September 18th at The First Presbyterian Church in Lansing, Michigan. 

It was a great success thanks to our speakers, sponsors and attendees.  Plans are underway for our 2010
seminar in the Detroit area.

 

Alternative Christmas Fair - November 14th

We raised awareness and funds this year at the Alternative Christmas Fair at Hope Lutheran Church in
Farmington Hills, MI.  We had 8 people register on-line to the Michigan Organ Donor Registry!!!
